I have been a Jazzercise instructor for 17 years now I wish I had found The Healthy Edge sooner! Like many women I gained weight during pregnancies that I just could not seem to lose even though I was working out daily. I just knew something had to be wrong with me to keep me from losing weight, I had my thyroid, hormones, and other bloodwork done to try and find the “problem” that was keeping me heavy. I tried diets, shakes, fat burners, even thought about HCG injections, anything to help my body change. My smiles on stage as I was teaching were genuine because I love instructing, however at home I loathed my body, felt ugly, disgusting and I worried that my customers would judge my abilities as an instructor based on my body.
I was then introduced to The Healthy Edge. I not only learned how food affects my body and metabolism, I learned about ME and why I use food the way I do. Finally, no more diets! I have a healthy relationship food, I am free from the obsession of the scale, I am not on a constant diet which in turn is much healthier behavior for my daughters to watch.
